Official development assistance and net official aid record the actual international transfer by the donor of financial resources or of goods or services valued at the cost to the donor, less any repayments of loan principal during the same period. Data are divided by gross domestic investment in current U.S. dollars. Note: Aggregates for Sub-Saharan Africa and its sub-aggregates (excluding South Africa, excluding South Africa and Nigeria) include the following: South of Saharan unspecified; TOM South of Sahara unspecified; Africa Unspecified; and Mayotte. The North Africa aggregate includes "North of Sahara unspecified", and the Africa aggregate is the sum of North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
