(b) Hard data: These data come from indicators obtained from a variety of sources. This indicator is a derived from the following indicators: - (a) Financial market sophistication (b) Financing through local equity market (c) Ease of access to loans (d) Venture capital availability (e) Restriction on capital flows (f) Strength of investor protection* (g) Soundness of banks (h) Regulation of securities exchanges (i) Legal rights index* Data source from survey data while asterisk (*) implies that data source are hard data.
