Tanzania - Foreign trade



The chief imports are transport equipment and intermediate and industrial goods machinery. The big export commodities for Tanzania are coffee (17.1%), fish and shellfish (11.6%), and fruits and nuts (including cashews—16.8%). Other exports include unfinished tobacco (8.6%) and cotton (7.4%).

The data shows that we lag our economy back as other countries prevail in export while discourage importation.There is a big difference between import and export this should taken as a challenge to boost our policy and establish frame work on external trade.
