St. Vincent and the Grenadines - Religions

Christianity is the dominant religion. Christian denominations include Anglican, Methodist, Pentecostal, Roman Catholic, and Seventh-Day Adventist. There are small communities of Baha'is, Hindus, and Muslims. There is also a sizable Rastafarian minority, some of whom claim discrimination by local police because their religion endorses the use of marijuana, which is illegal in the country. Religious freedom is guaranteed by the constitution.
