St. Lucia - Organizations

There is a chamber of commerce, which meets in Castries. Other organizations include the St. Lucia Hotel Association, the St. Lucia Manufacturing Association, and the St. Lucia Historical Society. The Folk Research Center promotes the study and development of national culture. National youth organizations include the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides of Saint Lucia, Caribbean Youth Conference, Progressive Labor Party Youth, and United Workers Party Youth. Kiwanis and Lion's Club programs are active. There is also a national chapter of the Red Cross.
